Changing default setting for Putty

Customize your PuTTY terminal client by doing the following:

  1. From the Start button, choose the PuTTY icon in Program Files/PuTTY.
  2. In the PuTTY Configuration window, choose the items on the left and change the values on the right.
  3. Click Session on the left.
  4. Highlight by clicking the Default Settings option in the Saved Sessions area.
  5. Click the Save button.
