COOLing down inside the temples with the Bayons

Recently HP organized a contest in conjunction of their latest mini sized laptop.? The contest was titled “Make Mine an HP mini” … Yes I did :) Thanks HP !

The contest is open to the public and the contestants would be allowed to upload photos, videos or MP3s to express “Express How COOL You Are”. The contest was from 29 May 2008 (00:01am) to 12 July 2008 (11:59pm). It was intially shorter and only Top 12 from each category rather than the extended Top 36.

Competition is based on the number of votes the contestant entry receives. Only the Top 36 from each category would be in the running to win the brand new HP Mini. The choice of caption was based on the theme “Express How COOL You Are!” and was taken into consideration during determinations of the winners.

3 categories :

Female Fashionistas
Age 24 and up, the female fashionista makes her own decisions and is goal oriented. Her focus is on her career and all things that come with it. Attending fashion week exhibitions, girls’ night out events, and anything that she prefers to do as an independent woman.

Trendy Youths
Age 15 to 24, the youth relates their cool moments to clubs, college life, their first driving experience, graduation, movies, music, proms, and birthday parties. These trendy youths view their future with optimism.

Urban Males
Age 24 and up, the urban male is a mature, sophisticated person with interests in fashion and style. Living in cities around the world, the urban male’s take on cool comes from their lifestyle habits (weddings, parenting, voting, having a first job, buying their first house).

Netinfinium Corporation Sdn. Bhd. was the appointed agency by Hewlett-Packard (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“HP”) to manage this Contest.
