Perhentian trip at D’ayumni House

Just back from the Perhentian trip that was in the plans for about a year since Kim Hing birthday celebration at Chiles. It was a 4D3N trip with a total of nine of us. We took early flight from LCCT to Kota Bharu, the flight took about an hour. When we reached KB, we hop on the transport service that Cassie/Ah Lim arranged during recent Matta Fair. From KB we hit the road and about 50mins later we were at the Kuala Besut jetty.

The boat ride from Kuala Besut jetty can range from 30-90min depending on the boat. When you passed through the Jetty entrance, you would be asked to pay for the Marine Park ticket which cost Rm5. Our boat ride took 30+mins to reach Perhentian Island.

Upon reaching the Perhentian, we notice the striking red colored D’ayumni House signboard that lead to their guest house behind Universal Diver.

During our stay we visited, Redang Island, Lang Tengah, Rawa Island, Susu Dara (Virgin Milk). We missed the Long Beach due to bad weather :P Heard some wild things about that spot ! Amongst all my beach travels, this trip was the most rewarding as not only we got to see baby shark, we got to see the real adult shark also. Then there was the sea turtle, I was fortunate enough to be at it side when it came up for breath. ( Priceless view ! ) The dive master Rashid from Abdul Chalet was nice enough to bring us to the infamous Spring water. ( Rumour has it, drinking from it and you will get 2 wife atleast :P )

Miss Lee arrange our lunch and dinner is different venue so that we would not be bored. The whole package was great and the service was even better. For those considering to travel to Perhentian Island, D’ayumni House is a great place to stay.
