Trinity Rescue Kit or TRK is a free live Linux distribution that aims specifically at recovery and repair operations on Windows machines, but is equally usable for Linux recovery issues.Trinity Rescue Kit is a bootable CD that you burn yourself, boot it from USB thumbdrive or even over the network using PXE. With access to the Internet, Trinity Rescue Kit can update itself and download the latest virus definition.
With NTFS-3g, it can scan and remove viruses. User could also mount the local drives and access the files via network. Other tools such as QTparted, partition image and midnight commander are also included.
